CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS: Put trash bags outside in the bin. Pickup is early morning on Thursdays. PLEASE only put trash bags in the bin. They will not take loose trash. This includes dog poop bags, bottles/cans, pizza boxes, cardboard, etc. EVERY SINGLE THING NEEDS TO BE IN A TRASH BAG. There should be plenty of trash bags under the sink to use. You will be charged $50 if you don’t adhere to the trash rules. The trash company charges us a $50 fee to clean up the trash can. Strip all beds that were slept in. Mattress protectors can be left on as well as comforters (our cleaner will strip and wash duvet covers). Ensure all dishes are washed or running in the dishwasher. China dishes cannot go in the dishwasher. Clean out the fridge and freezer and throw away any perishables. Close and lock all windows and doors and ensure all lights are off when you leave (including porch/front door). WINTER: Turn all the thermostats down to 55° (living room, downstairs bathroom, and upstairs double bedroom). SUMMER: Turn all AC units and fans off and unplug them. If the fire pit was used, please ensure the chairs and other things used are put away/under cover in case of rain. PLEASE & THANK YOU

Neighborhood

"Nestled between the northern White Mountains and the Connecticut River, the town of Littleton, NH, is equal parts business and shopping hub and outdoor escape. It’s been named one of the best places to live in America, and its downtown has won big accolades as well... With its ideal location in the shadow of the mountains and along the river, Littleton prides itself on being a walkable community, both around town and on a 22-mile network of hand-built trails." The communication with the host was excellent. Everything was clean and well stocked. Everyone thought the beds were incredibly comfy, which was a surprise for such a value spot. Littleton was such a cute town & we were about a 15-20 minute drive from Cannon Mountain. The house stayed warm during -10 degree temperatures! We would definitely come back. It was a bit difficult to figure out how to turn on the downstairs shower - you have to pull the top knob harder than you might think!
